PAINT PREP: HOW TO CLEAN WALLS BEFORE YOU PAINT
Painting a room is exciting. Maybe you have a new home, the arrival of a new baby, a fresh start, or simply a change in decor. Whatever the reason you’re painting your walls, Mr. Clean® wants to make sure you get a clean finish by getting a clean start. He knows how to clean walls before painting and loves sharing his secret. With his help, cleaning walls is quick and simple. All you need is some water and the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to get rid of grime and prep your walls for the next big makeover!
STEP ONE: WET THE MAGIC ERASER.
Mr. Clean’s best way to clean walls is with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Extra Durable. It’s 50 percent stronger than the Magic Eraser Original, so it’s tougher and lasts longer. Run it under some water to activate the micro-scrubbers inside. Then, squeeze out the remaining water and you’re ready to clean and prep those walls.
STEP TWO: SWIPE DUST AWAY!
Use the Magic Eraser to remove scuffs, dust and grime from the surface of your walls. In just a few firm swipes, you should be able to see the Magic Eraser work its magic. When you’re done, your walls will be clean, prepped, and ready for your new paint. Another task made easy by the impressively unique power of Mr. Clean!
